tonight!

is it my imagination,
or have i finally found something worth living for?
i was looking for some action,
but all i found was cigarettes and alcohol.

you could wait for a lifetime
to spend your days in the sunshine.
you might as well do the white line,
cos when it comes on top . . .

you gotta make it happen!

is it worth the aggravation
to find yourself a job when there's nothing worth working for?
it's a crazy situation
but all i need are cigarettes and alcohol!

you could wait for a lifetime
to spend your days in the sunshine.
you might as well do the white line
cos when it comes on top . . .

you gotta make it happen!

(oasis, cigarrettes and alcohol)

a prison, as holidays, is great to start brand new ideas:

Elinara woke up with the rising sun warming her face, her purple skin. He blinked twice, adjusting her eyes to the bright morning light. She was a Night Elf, after all; and even though her people’s way of life has much changed since the last war against the Burning Legion and the sacrifice of the World Tree – that ultimately was responsible for the end of the Night Elf’s cherished immortality –, she, as most of her kind, still didn’t feel as comfortable in day as they did under the moonlight.
She stared at her wounded hand and arm. The bandages were still soaked in blood, but it was not fresh, as if the haemorrhage was gone. It still hurt, though, when she tried to reach the water pouch Malian had giver her.
“Here, let me help you”, he suddenly said, coming from behind her. “Just take it easy. Your wound barely stopped bleeding”. He grabbed the water pouch, opened it and gave it to the priestess. She drank a little then stopped to watch her rescuer’s moves.
Malian was returning from some kind of early morning hunt, for he carried his crossbow, arrow quiver and, hanging on his leather belt, two thin rabbits. He put his weapons aside and, resuming the camp fire he had done in the previous night, he prepared to cook the rabbits. Yet as he approached the fire, he noted some unease in Elinara’s face.
“Is there something wrong?”, he asked with concern. “Do your wounds hurt?”
“No… it’s not that”, she replied. “That.” She pointed to the rabbits. “We night elves do not have meat for food much often…”
“Well, I just hope these are not plagued as this forest seems to be”, he said. “I have some herbs, but nothing special. Plus, you are still weak, and you need proper nourishment if we are to resume our travel. We can’t stay in Tirisfal Glades much longer.”
(...)

(down the scarlet path, by myself. forgive some mispellings.)

rush

it's impressive how a few words can make a heart beat faster.

a bug's life (nozdormu, you're messing it all up...)

during school time, i'm living in the big city. it has so many things to offer me, but seldom can i get (or make) the time for it due to school work. the time i have left must be spent with more important things.

girlfriend studies in the same university, which means that during school time, and providing that we have the time, we can spend some time together.

when living in the city, i have a fast-speed internet connection that allows me not only to update the blogs and read even more, but also to play my favourite massive-multiplayer-online-role-play-game. but when getting too overburden with university work, i stop playing, because what's left of my time must be given to my love. first things first.

now i'm going on holiday for a whole month. back to the little village in the very end of the world. no university works to worry about. plenty of time. so many free time that it becomes boring by only thinking about it. but my love is on her own homeland, sixty-or-so miles away from mine (without means of transportation). and there, in the end of the world, i have no fast-speed connection. which means no game. no fun.

life definetely has a twisted sense of humour. and i've always found irony a funny thing.

(not a) runaway train

the fact that, for the second time this year i've missed the train when going back one may have two possible meanings. the first, i don't really enjoy going back to the village. the second, my hometown is so far away, and i go there so little, that i am starting to forget the way.

i bet later, by the morning, i will enter a train going to the north. for a change.

time inversion

i decided not to think that only one day has passed since the last time we've been together. it's not one more day behind, but one less day ahead.

minefield

if we step on a buried land mine, how long can we hold the feet to avoid the blast?

bury the dead and save the living

if this philosophy worked to rebuild the city of lisbon after the great earthquake, it might well work for me to rebuild my own life from the shards that are all over the floor.

experiment report

there were several communication errors to report. circumstantial talks about weather or trivial issues didn't work as intended. serious and well discussed topics frighten the subject, thus exposing me to the possibility of an angry outburst. i've given up, and simply agreed with every non-sense the subject said.

conclusion: one can not define conversation by simple exchange of words. for two individuals can be exchanging words for hours without the smallest trace of conversation.

sleepless night

i really don't like to go to sleep when it's so cold outside. and no, i'm not being ironic about the weather.
